13 Sep 2007 - 621 Gliding Presentation and BBQ

Sqn Ldr Dave Woolcock and Flt Lt Nick Blake, two representatives of 621 Gliding Sqn came to visit us on Thursday night to give a presentation to the cadets about the oportunities for gliding that are open to them, especially the gliding scholarships, when they become 16.

Conveniently for them they turned up on our BBQ night so were able to sample some of our burnt sausages!!  The BBQ was organised by the Civ. Com., thanks to Mrs Bush and Mrs Hardman.  It was to welcome the cadets back after the summer holidays.
