27 Sep 2009 - Wing Training Day

15 cadets travelled to Colerne on the Sunday morning along with the CO.

First of all was the Wing Review where we all did a march past with Wing Commander Cox taking the salute. We were proud as our banner was one of the nine allowed to take part, also, our CO was Flight Commander of No.2 Flight 3 Squadron.

During the Day Cadets Hardman and Batt passed their Radio Comms course.

We won 1st prize for the squadron website.

We came 2nd in senior Public Speaking thanks to Sgt Hardman. Cdt McGuire took part in the Jnr Public Speaking and came 4th.

Our Diarama came 4th and Mr Rowlands' individual model of a bi-plane came 2nd in the Staff class.

Overall 2002 Sqn came 7th out of 28 units in the Wing
