A big thank you to all the cadets who put their name down and turned up AND an even bigger thank you to the cadets who turned up (to support) and got their name put down and took part.
It was a great day. Hot. But out of the 21 squadrons who took part we came 11th overall. So well done, as we had two categories with absolutely no cadets in it.
Our congratulations go to the following cadets for getting through to Wing:-

Cdt Hadman for doing a front somersault over the high jump and
Cdt Crook for ? (she doesn't know either!!!!!) probably for making Warrant Officer Sangster run across the entire athletics track. |
It was a real eye opener as cadet Exton was put down for discus but had never seen a discus so cadet Blake showed him how to hold and throw a trainer!!! Well done. The Civillian Committee are now going to buy sports kit. Watch this space next year as we will be pro's. (Forgot to tell you we trained for the relay race with a paint roller sleeve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
